On the 25th November, My Foster Family in partnership with The Fostering Network and BCBN launched the Muslim fostering project report at Coram in London.
A diverse range of sector professionals and senior officials from the Department of Education, Ofsted and fostering services from across England attended.The Muslim Council of Britain and numerous faith and BAME leaders supported the launch. The current recommendations outlined in the report show us that there are still challenges that need to be overcome but also highlights the positive impact My Foster Family is having on recruiting Muslim Foster carers and supporting faith needs of Muslim children in care.
