An independent registered charity that is peer driven supporting care experienced people nationally of all ages through our support line and peer led projects. Support and information if you are having a difficult time, signs you may be struggling to cope, if you are worried about someone else.Our webchat is for people in the UK who are down or have hit a wall for any reason, who need to talk or find information and support. 5PM – Midnight, 365 days a year.
Care Leavers Rock! Group
#Careleaversrock is a Facebook group for people who were in care at some point in their lives. We build lasting friendships and relationships, we answer questions and queries about all leaving care issues from education to living alone, we also post motivational stories and quotes to keep you going when the day seems a little difficult. We have care leavers who work directly with children and young people now as professionals and we also have care leavers who left care a long time ago but still have a special voice.
Give Us A Shout
Shout is the UK’s first 24/7 text service, free on all major mobile networks, for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It’s a place to go if you’re struggling to cope and you need immediate help.
Shout is powered by a team of volunteers, who are at the heart of the service. We take people from crisis to calm every single day.
Recovery Cafes
In different areas of the country offering free, safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for people who are struggling to cope with their mental health during the evening and weekends when other services may be closed. Google "Recovery Cafe" and your area to find your nearest recovery cafe.
